What we suggest

From 1 October 2026 the Pharmacy Board no longer publishes a reference list. Its new guideline says the pharmacy must give staff access to current, evidence-based references that fit its services, and that the licensee decides which, based on a risk assessment.

Our suggestion: keep the list below as your baseline. It's the Board's former list, it covers what a community pharmacy typically needs, and the VPA's standards and self-audit form may still refer to it until the VPA updates them. Then add anything your own services need on top.
